It can take time ---: For the swelling to resolve. Are you doing any therapy? Is the swelling decreasing or not?

If its increasing then you should go an er asap.
Ask your orthopedist about it.
Regular exercises, Ibuprofen & compression bandage would help, if your doc advises. Check with him/her.
