Scrotal pathology: You likely have a varicocele. Left scrotum would feel is if there was a"bag of worms" from the dilated veins, these disappear when you lie down. Need more info: What lump, where? The testicles hang to keep them at the temperature that keeps them alive and functioning, which is a little below body temperature.
