Slow it down: Losing 3 kg (6.6 pounds) a week is a pretty rapid weight loss. If you have a lot (30+ kg) to lose, this rate may be ok. The frequent eating is good as is "lot of vegetables." The protein is ok, but ideally you would have a little fiber/carbohydrate, too. Calories >900/day. If a variety of exercises in workout, 45 min/day is ok. Slow down weight loss to maximize chance of permanent loss. ...Read more

First : First you need to be congratulated on your amazing accomplishment. My first bit of advise is that you should definitely meet with a nutritionist to come up with a workable long term plan. Eating 1 meal a day sets you up for weight regain, because your metabolic rate has likely been turned down greatly. As far as your attempts at "spot" training in the gym with goals of weight loss in one specific area of your body, this simply is a myth that doesn't work. Don't be discouraged, no human body is able to lose weight in one specific area. This is usually an "all or none" phenomenon. As you lose fat, it will disappear everywhere, but at genetically predetermined rate. This is why for some people the issue i love handles vs. Thighs vs. Belly fat. Most important thing you should do is accept the new lifestyle you have chosen and make sure you eat at least 3 to 4 normal sized healthier meals a day. While she is getting a considerable amount of fiber, she is eating little protein or fat.
