Are frozen diet meals like lean cuisine and smart ones actually healthy or is it just the marketing?
Refers to all the physical matter humans (like all living creatures) must take in on a recurring basis; only partially for energy. Like all life on planet humans are open systems which keep tearing down their structure & require intake of atoms/molecules from which to rebuild their structure. I was on protein diet I was lose every week 3kg my diet plan included 5 meals a lot of vegetables, fish, chicken, and beef 45min workout is it healthy?
Slow it down: Losing 3 kg (6.6 pounds) a week is a pretty rapid weight loss. If you have a lot (30+ kg) to lose, this rate may be ok. The frequent eating is good as is "lot of vegetables." The protein is ok, but ideally you would have a little fiber/carbohydrate, too. Calories >900/day. If a variety of exercises in workout, 45 min/day is ok. Slow down weight loss to maximize chance of permanent loss. ...Read more
Is it smart to take less dmt2 med when one eats less on given day & go back to med regular schedule when one eats full meals again?
Hi I had a question, I used to be 380 pounds and I've lost about 150 pounds through dieting and moderate exercise over a course I tried eating very small meals (only one meal a day) with an hour of walking on the treadmill to see if I could tighten or loo
First you need to be congratulated on your amazing accomplishment. My first bit of advise is that you should definitely meet with a nutritionist to come up with a workable long term plan. Eating 1 meal a day sets you up for weight regain, because your metabolic rate has likely been turned down greatly. As far as your attempts at "spot" training in the gym with goals of weight loss in one specific area of your body, this simply is a myth that doesn't work. Don't be discouraged, no human body is able to lose weight in one specific area. This is usually an "all or none" phenomenon. As you lose fat, it will disappear everywhere, but at genetically predetermined rate. This is why for some people the issue I love handles vs. Thighs vs. Belly fat.
Most important thing you should do is accept the new lifestyle you have chosen and make sure you eat at least 3 to 4 normal sized healthier meals a day. This will minimize your chance of weight regain. ...Read more

I have been dieting & although I've lost some weight anytime I eat a regular meal I gain 3 or 4 lbs. How can I rectify that at my weight (340 lbs)?
Consider surgery: At 340, the likelihood for pills and diet to be effective long term is only 1%. With a normal sized stomach, you could diet all week, but have one modern full meal and consume 2500-4000 calories. Your body can only use about 1800 cal as glucose and glycogen (short storage). The rest must get stored as fat. Hence, you gain weight. You might consider bariatric surg to decrease capacity and hunger. ...Read more

I have a hypertention and I have only one kidney. Would you give me some comment for my diet plan?
Normal diet: I only have 1 kidney too. 1 kidney is more than enough to live a normal, unrestricted life. Be sure your BP is well controlled. Avoiding excess salt is a prudent plan. As would be true for people with 2 kidneys, a low fat, plant based, well balanced diet, avoiding becoming overweight is a good plan. ...Read more
It is impossible to lose 20 kg in one month; 20 kg in a year is more realistic. The best diet is one with minimal sugars & simple carbs from grains. Also avoid fried foods. I like Dr. Furhman's diet, which is primarily vegetarian:

I am struggling with taking diet pills I do it after every meal I just feel like no one understands me or believes I have a problem what should I do?
Are cheat meals allowed when on a diet? Like lets say once a week but only for one meal, not a whole day?
Not unreasonable: Obviously the more strictly one follows a diet the better the results, but you should still have very good results if you cheat only once a week for one meal- and if it makes it easier to stay on the diet it will be a valuable thing. The trick is to maintain a limit on cheating as it can be a slippery slope. And even when cheating try to be moderate. ...Read more
