2 weeks after gallbladder removal still have pain under right ribs and in my back on the right side. ?
I keep getting pain in my right side (after gallbladder removal) but doctors havent picked anything up and say its nothing. What do i do?
Pain s/p gallbladder: Can be retained stone-, scarring, biliary ( bile duct )dyskinesia, or adhesions ( adhesions- sticking of surfaces after surgery is hard to detect except visually at laproscopy) , check lipase for pancreas effects and for h pylori a stomach bacteria that may be complicating the picture. GB surgery: Your GB isn't working properly and you are symptomatic. I agree that you should remove the GB to not only improve/ resolve your symptoms but to prevent it from becoming an emergency procedure from a ruptured GB.
