I was on Zoloft 50mg Risperdal Buspar (buspirone) I was depressed and anxious I add Zoloft to 75mg and I stop Buspar (buspirone) 26day but I feel anxious?
I tried celexa, effexor, cymbalta, pristiq, (desvenlafaxine) lexapro, zoloft, wellbutrin, which barely helped. What else could i try? How do u feel about paxil?
Agree w/Dr. Buggie: I agree with dr. Buggie about the need for psychiatric evaluation and ongoing treatment. Wellbutrin does not help with anxiety. Paxil (paroxetine) is a reasonable choice, but whether it's right for you i cannot say. You're also on Adderall xr, which can exacerbate anxiety in some. Psychotherapy is an important part of treatment for anxiety also -- but you didn't mention pursuing that. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Switching from Zoloft to lexapro (escitalopram). Worried Lexapro (escitalopram) will make me dizzy? How common is dizziness so worried.
I am on wellbutrin, ativan, atorvastatin, escitalopram, lisinopril, abilify (aripiprazole). Can i take propranolol for anxiety/bp?
Use a low dose: Both escitalopram and wellbutrin (bupropion) inhibit liver metabolism (which is how Propranolol is metabolized) and both will result is a stronger Propranolol effect. This will strengthen the effects of Propranolol so start with the smallest dose and monitor your blood pressure and heart rate. It may also make you tired. ...Read more

Can i retake citalopram if im having bad wellbutrin (bupropion) withdrawal? Was on citalopram before wellbutrin (bupropion)
Wellbutrinwithdrawal: I feel empathy for your symptoms of withdrawal and your desire to have relief. Do not be desperate; withdrawal symptoms will be less intense in next few days. Citalopram is for Depression. It is likely that you stopped Citalopram as it did not help. See Psychiatrist immediately for Diagnosis, monitoring of withdrawal symptoms; discuss gradual withdrawal; other medications, and Intensive Therapy ...Read more

I am filled with intense terrible fear on a regular basis& have bad ocd. About 2start zoloft, (sertraline) & scared of it2 (seffect. Do u think i can be ok on z?
Zoloft (sertraline) ; Panic: Zoloft can be very helpful for panic disorder and for ocd. It requires 6-8 weeks' daily dosing for effectiveness, and the most common side effect is nausea. This does not happen with everyone. It's also not habit-forming like the xanax (alprazolam) .25mg you're also taking. Yes, like many others you can be okay on zoloft. Your doctor will monitor your progress, and hopefully you're in psychotherapy too. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I take Prozac right now but my doctor switched me to Zoloft (sertraline) I'm scared to switch to Zoloft (sertraline) will it give me energy like Prozac ?
What would happen if I took double my Zoloft (sertraline) dose?? I might have taken my 25 mg pill twice! I am so scared, I forgot to log it today. Help!!
Extra Zoloft (sertraline): you are going to be fine. One extra 25 mg of Zoloft (sertraline) is not going to have any significant affect on you. I doubt you will even notice it. At most you may have a little loose stool. It is going to be ok, just keep taking your regular dose from now on. Peace and good luck. ...Read more
Sedation: There are many possible side effects although they are usually relatively mild. The more common would include sedation, increased yawning, decreased energy, changes in concentration, nausea, diarrhea, weight gain and increased sweating. Not everyone gets these side effects and some get very little in the way of side effects. I would talk with the prescribing physician about your concerns! ...Read more

Zoloft (sertraline) for three months has stabilized my anxiety. But i don't feel highs in joy like before. I'm scared, i want to function without it. What do I do?
Zoloft (sertraline): Unfortuately, all drugs have side effects which you must know about before using any drug. Antidepressants, like zoloft, (sertraline) can help to stabilize moods and reduce anxiety-but at a price- they narrow your range of emotion and take off the highs and the lows. Also, drugs are a short term solution to a long term problem best resolved by pursuing psychotherapy. ...Read more
Worrying about all bad things that could happen is making me sick.Scared & filled w/anxiety.What 2 do? Help please? Just started zoloft (sertraline).Could it help?
Yes: And it may be even more likely to help if you support it with some talk therapy to help you find a way to correct the thinking and perhaps behavioral tendencies that can cause emotional distress. Ret or other cbt therapists are very beneficial for clarifying such patterns. It may even be possible to get beyond medication as you succeed. Good luck in your efforts. ...Read more
I stopped taking Zoloft (sertraline) because I was scared it would interfere with the plan b I took. I took the plan b pill over a week ago. Is it okay to continue to take my Zoloft (sertraline) (50mg) again?
Yes: The Zoloft (sertraline) wouldn't have interfered, and it is okay to restart it. Make sure to check a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks - Plan B can cause irregular bleeding or delay your cycle, so take a test to make sure you're not pregnant about 3 weeks from when you had unprotected intercourse. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I'm scared of what might happen if i take the Zoloft (sertraline) that was prescribed to me by my doctor for my anxiety. Any help?
FEAR: Understand that the warnings of dire and terrible side effects put out by drug companies are rare in practice. There are printed because the law demands it. The medications are used because they do a great deal of good - not to do harm. Minor side effects are of little importance if you feel better. Now your problem with anxiety has been extended to include meds. This is also your problem with anx. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I want to start zoloft (sertraline). I am terrfied it will make me dizzy or create vertigo?! is this common? Also in scared for widthdrawl when i come off it? Help
"TERRIFIED"?: Anxiety itself can cause dizziness, often from hyperventilation as a physiological response. Many anxious people are hyper-vigilant of body sensations, fearing they indicate life-threatening issues. Zoloft (sertraline) can definitely help chronic anxiety, but >10% of people may experience dizziness with it. This also leaves 90% of people who don't! hoping you continue psychotherapy for anxiety along with this. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
