Good mulitvit, Vit D: It is best to get vitamins from your diet, but the majority of americans do not get enough vit a, e, d, folic acid, calcium & magnesium from their diets & over 1/3 are deficient in c, zinc & b6. Thus, unless you have an exceptionally healthy diet it is wise to take a high quality mulivit. Maybe,maybe not: Often something as simple as not getting effective sleep will impair simple memory tasks as you mention. Poor diet, lack of exercise and illness all can also play a role.
