Yes: Influenza is widespread right now, so the constellaton of symptoms you descibe certianly could be influenza. Could also be other viruses or strep, so best to have child tested to see what is what so appropriate therapy can be initiated. Drink lots of fluids and rest! ...Read more

No, hard to know: This is not "the flu" as that refers to influenza, which has high fever, sore throat, cough, few GI symptoms ; you're bedridden, feeling like you were hit with by a truck.
This could be "stomach flu" a GI virus that's quite different from influenza, or a parasite, h. Pylori, other bacterial infection or food poisoning. No way to know if it will make you vomit. If not better soon see a doctor. ...Read more

Viral illness: You do not have fever. If you are concerned that this may be early onset of influenza go and get tested and treated if positive. Otherwise, get into bed, rest, keep yourself well hydrated and use an anti-inflammatory to manage some of the symptoms (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, etc.) hope you are better soon. ...Read more

Yes: The flu doesn't make your testicles hurt. Why do you think you have the flu? Is it because you have a fever and ache all over? If so, that could be just due to the fever.
