Does lattice with very small holes have a greater risk of developing into a retinal tear (due to traction) than lattice without holes or unrelated?

Does lattice with very small holes have a greater risk of developing into a retinal tear (due to traction) than lattice without holes or unrelated?

Minor difference: Lattice develops as a means for the young retina to stabilize deeper attachments to prevent detachment. This along with the gelatinous nature of the vitreous is very protective. The holes probably reflect slightlly thinner retina and a very slightly increased risk. Detachment is unlikely until past age 40 when the vitreous naturally liquefies and is less protective.

Over door.: The least expensive option is an over door pulley system that uses a halter (think horse reins)that surround your chin and back of your skull up to a pulley system with a weight at the other end. I recommend 7 pounds to start and move upward as needed.

Traction can give canal stenosis or not?

Traction can give canal stenosis or not?

Low back pain: Traction does not cause spinal canal stenosis. Spinal stenosis is caused by an overgrowth of ligaments, facet joints, and bulging or herniated discs. Lumbar or cervical traction is meant to open up the foramina where the nerve roots exit the spinal canal.

Am 51 & just told I have vitreomacular traction. Does it usually progress?

Vitreomacular VMT: VMT can progress and lead to a macular hole. A new drug: JETREA® (ocriplasmin) Intravitreal Injection, 2.5 mg/mL, is a proteolytic enzyme indicated for the treatment of symptomatic vitreomacular adhesion and helps prevent a hole and even reverse a hole if present which some miraculous results. Best of luck.

I stopped the traction on my hair it's been two months and my hair is still shedding when will it grow back? Please help me

Need more info: There are lots of reasons to cause your problem. It may be genetic or infection or the traction has affected the growth of the hair follicle. My advice is to consult with a dermatologist. In the meantime you could try an over the counter medical supplement called Biotin to take orally. Talk to your pharmacist also if you go that route.
