Tingling Left Arm And Foot
I'm experiencing migraines, burning and tingling of the left foot/arm, thirsty, numbness of the face, exhaustion. What are these systems associated with?
May not be migraine: Migraines can sometimes cause neurologic symptoms in other parts of the body that can mimic a mini-stroke (TIA). But it's important to rule out more dangerous causes like aneurysm or tumor. CT or MRI of the brain, and possibly a CTA or MRA to look for aneurysms, is probably needed. See a doctor as soon as possible. ...Read more

I felt burning at both feet also had neck ache. Now tingling left arm for last 2 months. Got mri, it diagnosed impinging of nerve root at neck. Pl advice?
Tingling sensation in face, lips, tongue and at times most of the body that goes down the left arm and into fingers, and at times down both legs and into feet and bottom of feet. Sometimes feels like itching. HX of lower back injury in 2002 & 2012?
Tingling: Tingling on both sides, in the face, and in an arm means there is no one location or side of the brain that is causing it. Tingling is an indication of irritation to nerves (or neuropathy), which can be from a metabolic problem (Eg, very low calcium) or from a diffuse skin problem causing the itching (such as hives or urticaria). Hyperventilation (breathing too fast) can cause tingling too. ...Read more

Having pain on upper back, neck for 6 mnths with ankle & hip pain. Eyes burn and there's a tingling on left arm. What might be causing this?
Hard to say: If you are in the far east, then the list of possible causes could be extensive. Seem kind of young to have a herniated disc in neck or back, but it is possible. I would be more concerned about some type of chronic infection (TB) or nutritional deficiency. Get this checked out. ...Read more
Unclear: What this could be, but if you are on oral contraceptives or have high blood pressure or have overexerted yourself, for example by power lifting, it could possibly represent a blood clot or another form of stroke. You should get an exam by a clinician to be sure it is not. Also if you have had any injury, your neck needs to be checked for any damage. Good luck! ...Read more

Perhaps 2 issues: Not unique to have trauma to shoulder, with possible rotator cuff tear, and associated injury to the brachial plexus. But severe abrupt non-traumatic shoulder pain associated with numbness and/or weakness in the arm may be due to brachial plexitis (parsonage-turner syndrome), and should be managed with steroids. Last caveat, left arm can be associated with a cardiac issue. Get all checked out. ...Read more

My left arm is tingling and the shoulder is hurting, any ideas been like this for about 20 minutes
Various possibilities though without knowing more information you are best to go to your local emergency room or primary doctor if he/she handles such things and rule out a heart attack.
Once you rule out a heart attack, there are other possibilities including primary shoulder conditions and, given the tingling of your arm, neck conditions. But again, see someone asap just to play it safe. ...Read more
Is pain in left arm with tingling in fingers cause for concern? Was hospitalized last yr with a PE.
Tingling in the arm: The tingling and pain along with numbness sometimes, is a symptom of a nerve pinched in the cervical (neck) spine. Possibly due to an injury such as falling forward or any jerky motion (incl chiropractic manipulations). It would not be related to your PE but you should see a physician who specializes in pain or orthopedic surgery for proper diagnosis. Meanwhile try to avoid looking down (texting) ...Read more

I'm 38 years old and I'm having tingling in my left arm all the way down to my finger tips and pains in my shoulder?
Need evaluation: Difficult to determine without an examination. Differential diagnosis could be cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve in neck), brachial plexopathy, peripheral nerve entrapment such as carpal tunnel syndrome (not uncommon for cts pain to travel up the arm), or even myofascial pain with trigger points. Would suggest physiatric evaluation for definitive diagnosis and treatment. ...Read more
