Tingling in the arm: The tingling and pain along with numbness sometimes, is a symptom of a nerve pinched in the cervical (neck) spine. Possibly due to an injury such as falling forward or any jerky motion (incl chiropractic manipulations). Unlikely: In an otherwise healthy 19yo male, this is more often due to brief disruption of blood supply to the head (commonly after standing rapidly from a squatted position or similar change in posture). Check neck: Could be from the shoulder or referred. Common referred sources include: abdomen, heart and neck.
