MRSA cellulitis?: Are they really lymph nodes and not localized skin infections? The fact that they are painful suggests infection. The lack of response to Keflex suggests methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (mrsa). I would recommend seeing your doctor and getting a medication that works for MRSA in your community (could be Clindamycin or bactrim; your local doctor will know best). ...Read more

Need exam: A sore throat will cause the lymph glands in the neck to enlarge, but not the axillary or arm pit nodes. If there is not cut, abrasion, or rash on the arm, then you need to be see your DR. Could be...: A few different things. Tender is usually a good sign. If you have a few relatively small tender lymph nodes & you struggle with allergies or have a cold, those could cause it. However if you have a very lg node/nodes, it's best to get that checked out.
