Many meds: You've tried many meds already, although there are some you haven't mentioned that often help anxiety: buspirone, beta-blockers, other mood stabilizers besides lithium, etc. But after a person has tried so many medications and still has symptoms, i'd suggest non-medication approaches: psychotherapy, mindfulness, relaxation training, exercise/yoga, etc. ...Read more

So much medication: It might be necessary to take some drugs but I question the risks already and adding the new one is especially bad w/ cymbalta (duloxetine). It can cause severe anxiety! Also serotonin syndrome. Almost all of your meds combine to cause a host of symptoms like dizziness, confusion and general impairment. Please consider a good psych eval and adding good psychotherapy to lower need for Rx and help them work! ...Read more

SSRI's/genetics: Not sure what "genetic testing" would indicate a "switch to Prozac instead of Zoloft". Prozac and Zoloft belong to the same pharmacologic family (SSRI's). The problem with Prozac is the time it takes to achieve a therapeutic dose (15 days or so), and it takes the same amount of time to get off Prozac.
