TMJ : Tmj dysfunction due to brusim and clenching can lead to trigger points in neck on top of back. Back of head and can radiate into a particular tooth in some cases. Tinnitus and an itchy feeling in ears is common. Get yourself evaluated by someone who works with myofacial pain and trigger points. ...Read more

Not Pica/ sponge : You didn't crave to eat the sponge. So it is not pica. It was an accidental ingestion. Most ingestions like that pass out of the GI tract within a week. I would not expect any harmful effects from that ingestion. ...Read more

Med eval: If you have a significantly sore throat w swollen tonsils / lymph nodes – see your medical provider ; get a strep throat test ; culture. Saltwater gargles are helpful. Mix a tsp of salt in 8 oz of warm water – gargle w this several times/day. You can gargle w aloe vera juice a couple of times per day. A mix of chamomile tea w honey ; a small amount of lemon juice is good. ...Read more

Tonsilits: Kitten - of course without examining you i cannot be completely sure, but your symptoms are common with tonsillitis. Do yourself a favor and contact your physician. The correct antibiotics are important to prevent future problems. ...Read more

Sore throat: Pleas seek medical attention. Could be strep which should be treated with antibiotics.. Also can be abccess, which needs antibiotics. Other causes can include mononucleosis, reflux, STDs, rare autoimmune disease . You can gargle with salt water, and/or gargle with maalox 4 teaspoons maalox mixed with 1 teaspoon children's liquid benedryl .But see a doctor . ...Read more
