I get a spinning sensation when lying flat on my back. Strange?

Inner ear imbalance: We have 3 canals in each ear for positioning not hearing. If one of the canals isn't in balance with the other 5 you will feel dizzy in certain positions. See your doctor, or an ear, nose, and throat specialist to have this diagnosed properly.

Headache and spinning sensation for four days now! Getting worried bloodwork looked normal!

Headache and spinning sensation for four days now! Getting worried bloodwork looked normal!

Sounds like vertigo: (aka: labrynthitis), a viral illness that likes the inner ear. Symptoms should improve with Meclizine (found over the counter in some dramamine (dimenhydrinate) products). Unfortunately, can last days to months, depending on person.

I've been having a spinning sensation when I move too fast, when my eyes move- sometimes just randomly when I'm still. Am I experiencing vertigo?

Unfortunately yes: Vertigo refers to an illusion of movement which is what you describe. The most common cause of vertigo is inner ear disease brought about by a viral infection (labyrinthitis), head trauma (benign positional vertigo, postconcussive syndrome), or meniere's disease (triad of vertigo, tinnitus, and sensorineural hearing loss). Please see your doc for further guidance on the proper diagnosis and rx.

Waking up with bad vertigo where the room is spinning. Also, have a sensation of moving while standing still, I don't have a cold. What could be wrong?

Vertigo: Vertigo can be caused by various things - trauma, migraine, CNS issue, sinus issues, ear problems. The most common type is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). It involves three small bones and fluids in the inner ear. Your doctor can perform a simple test called the Dix-Hallpike maneuver to confirm diagnosis. In most cases, this will resolve on its own or may require medication.
