Won't work: The penicillin derivatives like amoxicillin hasn't worked with most skin infection causing staph since the 1950's. They were one of the first germs to become resistant to penicillin after its introduction. If you are having a reaction to the Bactrim you need to be seen by a local doc & have this documented.
