It commonly causes side effects like heartburn ; can cause serious side effects like osteonecrosis ; heart arrhythmias. Years ago i had a severe allergic reaction to cinobac which is in some way related to cipro (ciprofloxacin). Can i safely take cipro (ciprofloxacin)?
No: Cinobac belongs to the quinolones family of drugs, same as cipro (ciprofloxacin). Generally when you're allergic to one drug in the family, you may be allergic to the other drugs in that family since they're often molecularly similar. More common: Unfortunately as we get older our bodies are much less efficient at getting rid of medicine that we take. This means that a dose for a young adult may be half or less in the elderly depending on their liver kidney function.
