Receiving Unprotected Oral Sex
Not Pregnant?: Pregnancy occurs when sperm and egg unite. If you had sex around/just after menses - it is unlikely that you will become pregnant because ovulation didn't occur (the egg is not available). The ideal time to start the pill is day one of your cycle - first day of menses. If you could already be pregnant - from previous unprotected sex, you should take a preg. Test before continuing the pill. ...Read more
I received unprotected oral sex. What are my chances of getting an std? Had protected vaginal. I didn't preform oral.
Minimal: You could conceivably get herpes in this manner, and if the man had oral syphilitic lesions this could be transmitted, but unlikely. Most stds will not be transmitted by saliva which has enzymes which kill most organisms. If, however, your partner had a bleeding lesion then it is conceivable, but still not likely. If you are concerned always better to be tested and safe rather than sorry. ...Read more

Possible choices: do not engage in sexual activities until after the wedding (yes, it is normal not to have premarital sexual activities); go with her to her doctor to get her checked and to review test results; have sex, be scared, but get oneself checked each month for 4 consecutive months. ...Read more

Had unsafe oral sex with guy whose ONLY sexual encounter was unsafe vag sex with woman who tested negative after 5 months of exposure. Can i have HIV?
Unsafe sex: While it's unlikely you contracted HIV after this episode of unsafe sex, you can not rely on third hand information of sexual history. The only history you can rely on is your own. To protect against HIV infection, practice safe sex every time unless you are in a mutually monogamous relationship in which both partners have tested negative for HIV over six months or longer. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
