Had unprotected sex day after 1/9 ovulation day & 1/10 last fertile day. And used the pull out method. Period 1/23 chances of being pregnant?

Very possible...: The pull out method is not a reliable method for birth control. The chances of getting pregnant are over 28% since sometimes in the pre-jaculatory fluid some sperm cells might be present. If you suspect you could be pregnant and miss your period get a home based test in order to verify suspicion. ...Read more

I used the pull out method a day before I was due to ovulate and im a month late but lately my periods have been a 59 day cycle? I'm also underage?

Take a test: It often takes a few years for a women's periods to regulate themselves. Now this could be why you are on a 59 day cycle (depending on how node rage you are). Even with women who are very regular and know exactly when they ovulate the pull ut method is less 50% effective at preventing pregnancy. Would recommend abstinence if you are way underage or at least a more reliable birth control method. ...Read more

See below: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. It is not likely that you are pregnant, if you did the test correctly. Consult this site for more information on this topic.

I used the pull out method the day I got off my period but he pulled out way before he was gonna *** and it was 10 days before my ovulation day!!

You can be pregnant: The "pull out" method is not a good method of birth control. Men can leak sperm well before they THINK they are going to cum.

Further, if using a calendar-based approach to ovulation, you are also likely to become pregnant; such approaches assume that you are going to ovulate on average time, every time.

I recommend you look into other means of birth control. You are having unprotected sex now. ...Read more

Yup: Unprotected sex is unprotected sex, and around ovulation is the perfect time to get pregnant. If he "pulled out" you may still not be pregnant, but it's not impossible either. If you seriously don't want to be pregnant, no unprotected sex. ...Read more

I had unprotected sex 4 times with my boyfriend the same night while using the pull out method. It was my first day of ovulation. Can I get pregnant?

Yes!: The withdrawal (pull-out method), while better than nothing, has a relatively high failure rate compared to other forms of contraception. In addition having unprotected sex around the time you ovulate puts you at even higher risk for an unintended pregnancy. If this occurred within the past 5 days, request an Rx for Ella from your clinician, and select a more effective method of contraception. ...Read more

What are chances of pregnancy when pull out method is used day before ovulation but semen runs down in vaginal opening?

20% pregnancy per yr: Best way to estimate is to ask what is chance of getting pregnant if you keep using withdrawal method over the course of one year. This risk, based on research, is about 20%. Given that you may not have performed the withdrawal method properly, the other number to reference is the chances of pregnancy when no method is used. That number is about 85% per yr. Withdrawal: If your partner always pulls out the correct way and time, then there is about a 4% chance of getting pregnant. On average however, about 20% of women get pregnant this way. The more sex you have during your ovulation the more your chances. Pre-ejaculate can still get you pregnant. Had sex with my husband (pull out method)2days before ovulation. Next day I was getting lot of watery discharge. Can it be sperm & can I get prego?

Can I get pregnant?: As you have been taught, the pull out method is a fast way to get pregnant. It is estimated that at any given time 30% of couples who practice this 'form of birth control' end up pregnant. Any sperm, even that leaked in pre-cum can cause pregnancy if left in the vagina during ovulation. Your discharge is in no way a symptom of pregnancy. ...Read more

Pull-out=bad method: Unfortunately, your question is cut off at the end. It is very important, however, to address the ineffectiveness of the"pull-out"method, which involves stopping sex before ejaculation occurs. In addition to the possibility of withdrawing too late, sperm can be found in the lubricating fluid preceding ejaculation. The pull-out method is not birth control.Unless pregnancy is desired, condoms are needed. ...Read more

On BC pill for over 2 years. Had sex (no condom) on what would have been my ovulation day. Pull out method used. Pregnancy risk?

Depends: If you have been taking the pills regularly, the risk is low. If you miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
Practice safe sex.
Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more

Hi doctor. I & my husband had sex day before ovulation and we used pulled out method. He ejaculated near my vagina opening. Can I get pregnant?

Your hormones: Are likely in flux for whatever reason, and you would need to be patient to see if things would settle down. Menstrual fluctuations are affected by many different factors, including nutrition, psychological state of mind, stress, infections/ illnesses, etc. If things continue to be irregular or unpredictable in the next couple of months, get yourself to a GYN or family Doc. ...Read more

Had sex on what we think was last day of ovulation but it might of been a day or two later, I pulled out didn't cum, but we took plan b 30 minutes later are we good you think? And could you be good if you take plan b on day of ovulation?

Yes: Yes, regardless of where you are in your cycle or timing of ovulation, Plan B if taken within 72 hours of unprotected or inadequately protected sex will reduce chances of pregnancy (to less than 1%). The sooner you take it, the better, though Plan B is likely effective even as much as 5 days out. Of course it's safer to use protection during/before sex, but Plan B is a good plan b when needed. ...Read more
