Acthar q week and pred 25mg daily. Taper over 4 months. Severe prob return before acthar when decreased pred. Shouldn't acthar allow for faster taper?
See details: Other than being incredibly expensive, acthar gel has little benefit over prednisone. Currently you feel better because you are taking 2 separate forms of corticosteroids. If you have peak: flow meter, and it is less than green zone after you have done all these treatments as prescribed, then you need to go to ER.
