GERD???: If the feeling in the chest is at all like "heartburn" it could be gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). If he has a big belly bending over could cause these symptoms. Usually heart based Sx are not related to bending over. To be sure see your doc. ...Read more

The pain you describe does not sound like a heart attack. Other possibilities to worry about include blood clot in the lungs.
