Pharyngitis: You need to give the medication time to work. Give her lots of fluids and use ibuprofen and acetaminophen alternating. Every four hours give her an alternating dose of Tylenol or Motrin. If she's not better in about 10 days from the start of treatment then take her back in. Don't worry so much about the food as the fluid intake.
