No, but: Amoxicillin is usually prescribed three times a day and does not matter when you eat. Penicillin is normally prescribed orally 4 times a day an hour before you eat. So compliance is harder for penicllin and so Amoxicillin is easier to be in compliance with and thus would be more effective. ...Read more
