So common: It's very very common to have increased discharge from the vagina toward the end of pregnancy. When i was pregnant, even though i was an ob/gyn myself, i was super surprised how much additional discharge there was. So long as you say, no itch, foul smell, then you're okay. Discharge can be of: Multiple origins. Sexual history is important. Chlamydia and gonnerea can cause excessive discharge but i would place this further down on the list. Bacteria from the colon can colonize the vagina, this is called bacterial vaginosis.This is more common if u wear a thong. Trichomonas is another sexually transmitted culprit.
