Whenever I put pressure on my knee when kneeling I get burning sensation on he side of knee. No other pain. Only when kneeling does it happen?

Knee: Since the discomfort is not on the center of the knee where the direct pressure is, it may be stretching of ligament or tendon causing the burning sensation. Why does the front of my right knee really hurt, when I kneel down on floor, yet it's fine walking, and cycling. Also pains when I apply pressure.?

PrePatellar Bursitis: You probably have a condition called pre-patellar bursitis. The front of your knee, over the knee cap, is a small fluid filled sac called the pre-patellar bursa. It helps the skin glide smoothly over the underlying knee cap. Sometimes, due to inflammation and sometimes trauma such as excessive kneeling, your pre-patellar becomes enlarged and irritated. This is painful. Treatment is usually with anti inflammatory meds such as advil, (ibuprofen) ice, and removing aggravating factors such as kneeling. Should resolve in a few weeks. If it doesn't see your sports medicine doc. Good luck! ...Read more

Can edema from venous reflux below knee apply pressure on the surrounding arteries which cause the feeling of a pulse without having to touch the leg?

Try compression: Edema may cause a variety of symptoms. These include aching, throbbing, and itching to name a few. Symptoms are caused by stretching and pressure on surrounding tissues. I cannot say with certainty that your symptoms are related to pressure on the arteries. I suggest you see a vascular surgeon for further evaluation. Have you tried compression therapy?
