May cause anxiety: It could cause anxiety. It depends on what the cause(s) of the bouts of svr are, including drugs &alcohol. I'm 28 and don't smoke. Can I still have an AFib or Angina if my EKG, chest X-ray, blood, and stress test came back normal? One EKG showed abnormal heart rhythm but 4 others ( taken within 5 month span) showed normal heart rhythm. I'm really scared.
When i'm on the heart monitor my heart rate goes from normal spaced heart rhythm to no space and crazy amounts of up and down marks what causes this?
4 yr old has normal rhythm heart rate but speeds ups then slows down by about 20 BPM every 10-30 seconds. Also having single and multiple pvcs
Rhythm: it might be OK to have some rhythm rate variation, but we can't tell for sure without seeing actual ECGp or Holter. If he has several PVCs a day then he needs an evaluation by a pediatric electrophysiologist like myself. I've been having pounding headaches with pounding heartbeat after phys activity. ER visit no heart attack, normal sinus rhythm. What could it be?
Do I have an abnormal heart rhythm? I have been having irregular heart beats, whenever i stand up my heartbeat fastens. Is my heart normal?
Good question: When anyone stands up, their heart rate quickens - that part is normal. Regarding your irregular heart beat: the most important factor in determining if it's dangerous to you or not is whether or not your heart is normal. So your question is right at the "heart" of the matter! you need an evaluation with history, exam, ekg, echo, blood work, and possibly a stress test. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have a normal heartbeat but sometimes get uncomfortable jolts. I have all the symptoms of a heart rhythm disorder. 17, no birth deffects. Been check?
Arrhythmia: Understand: everyone has palpitations (sensation of abnormal heart rhythm) sometimes. In itself, that's neither a disease nor dangerous. That said, if you're uncomfortable, it deserves attention. The first step would be to document the nature of the disturbance by recording your heart rhythm over 24 hrs, 48 hrs, or 30 days - depending on how often they seem to occur. ...Read more

I was diagnosed with PVCs I usually get 1 a day and gives me SOB but heart is normal other than heart murmur could I get abnormal heart rhythm?
I've got a ectopic heart rhythm (extra beat).Suffering with bad palpitations all day +heart pain+breathless+weakness +sweaty. Is this normal ?
Basically yes: Ectopic heart beats are very common and rarely dangerous. Some people feel them like you do, others don't feel them at all. An ectopic beat can cause sudden chest discomfort, out of breath, and fatigue. Medications like propranolol can decrease the extra heartbeats. Avoid chocolate, caffeine, stimulants, alcohol. Can innapropriate sinus tachycardia lead to atrial fibrillation got to go to hospital monday for ECG my heart rhythm gone from normal to abnormal?
Not usually: This would be a bit odd. Usually fibrillation is the result of age, drinking, and diseases which exhaust or stretch out the atria. Inappropriate sinus tach usually doesn't directly result in afib. When it went to "abnormal" are you sure that was to fib? Did they get an ekg? Could well be flutter too, which can occasionally be mistaken for fib. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Start with a doctor: A history and physical is a good start. An ekg can take snap shot of the electrical activity of you heart. If your doctor wants to look over a longer period, you might wear a holter monitor. Blood tests can also be useful. The work up might be more involved, but will probably start something like that. ...Read more
