Hematology test sperm count 99% motility sperm75% volume sperm 3.8 liquefication sperm ****1 is he good?

Here are some ...: The punctuations in the question are not clear so I would just assume the report as follows: Sperm count at 99% of percentile score; sperm motility at 75%; semen volume at 3.8 cc; and semen liquefied at 1 minute. If so, yes, his semen analysis for male infertility is good in favor of impregnating a suitable female. ...Read more

My semen analysis report 225 mil/ml, motility 43%, morphology 2%, viability 71%. Is it possible one of my vas deferens is blocked?

Here are some...: The report on semen analysis is fair - still with a good odd to conceive if a timely awaiting egg could be available. No one can say for sure if one of vas deferens is blocked although history may suggest such. Remember: 50% of infertility are from female factors; 30%, from male's; 20%, from both. So, go to be evaluated for both sides, and continue your current effects for conception if.... ...Read more

Semen analysis.Volume=7.3, ph=7.5, motility=30%, normal morphology=80%, count=30million, viscosity normal. Is this test good for becoming a father?

Analysis, Not Odds: A semen analysis evaluates several important aspects of ejaculate. The most important are volume of ejaculate, concentration of sperm, % moving, % moving mostly straight, and the appearance of the sperm. If your count is 30m then you have a low sperm count (< 15m/cc) (30m/7.3 cc = 4.1 m/cc) with reduced motility if this has been your only test, recheck it in 6 weeks. See a urologist if persists. ...Read more

Does a semen analysis with 70% immotile sperm and zero fast progressive sperm mean that a man is infertile? Can the sperm quality be improved?

Here are some...: The parameters of your semen analysis for male infertility strongly suggests a very low likelihood to fertilize a timely waiting egg. How to improve it? You should bring this Q to your doctor assessing your infertility since s/he is the one who knows more about your individual specific situations than anyone online. Besides, female factors are known to contribute to some 45-55% of all infertility. ...Read more

Is it possible to perform icsi with non motile sperm?

Is this semen analysis result normal- volume= 1ml, count= 87million, 60% actively motile, 20% sluggish & 20% non motile?

Semen analysis: The volume is low, it should be between 2-5ml and you do not mention morphology(how the sperm look). A low volume could be due to loss of some of the seminal fluids during collection. A repeat test is indicated. ...Read more

PH is 8.5,Pus cells are 6-8/HPF, Pro.Motile:20%, Non Pro.Motile:35%,Non motile:45%, Count:43MM/ml in my semen analysis report. should I take medicine?

I'm not sure how: much help I can be as the terms in your report are not the same as typically used here in the US.First, I don't see a volume report...how many ml was in the sample. I don't know if "pro-motile" is the only category that should be considered motile...if so, it is low. The count is good. Infection should be considered with 6-8 pus cells/HPF. Best to review with your Doc and follow recommendation:) ...Read more

Okay, but...: Your semen analysis is okay, but its parameter is just a rough indicator of fertility since some 50% of its causes lie in female factors; 30%, in male's; 20% in both'female and male factors. What are the other infertility tests for men besides semen analysis? My semen analysis results were normal.

Repeat: There is a lot of variability between labs in terms of semen analysis. A lab that specializes in fertility testing will do a more thorough and accurate assessment of the sperm. The most important thing is that you and your partner see a fertility specialist - a reproductive endocrinologist who can assess all factors and recommend treatment. ...Read more
