Irreg period: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Could be normal: It can take up to a year after going off birth control pills before menses resume. If menses were irregular prior to going on the pill or there are other medical issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity etc, then an obgyn should be consulted immediately, otherwise it would be ok to wait a few more months.
