I have rectal bleeding diarrhea bloated stomach nausea severe lower back pain. The back pain lessens when my bowels are empty.

See GI: From your profile, it appears you have had a colonoscopy. Depending on when that was performed, you may need another. Bleeding is never normal, so you need to see the GI again. Tough to say, but there could be several causes, that hopefully with some testing and a good exam will be found. Gallbladder vs ulcer: Right upper quadrant pain makes us think of gallbladder issues, whether due to stones or infection. However, gastritis ; ulcers can also manifest as RUQ pain. Rarely, sexually transmitted infections can present w/ruq pain eg fitz hugh curtis syndrome. Of course, liver is also in RUQ but less likely to cause pain after eating (same goes for fhc). Maybe GERD: This could be gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd) which results from a loose lower esophageal sphincter and/or overproduction of acid. Also it could be the pancreas, peptic ulcer, gallstones, or hiatal hernia ( the top of the stomach protrudes into the esophagus). Your doctor will be able to to determine what the cause is.
