Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and your symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician.
Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

Menstrual cramps: If not on oral bcps, in mid-thirties the ovaries need more stimulation to ovulate, which produces more estrogen, and cells which line the uterus can infiltrate the uterine muscle walls: result heavier bleeding and cramps. Ask your gyn about low dose oral bcp's, if there are no contraindications, as they will reduce considerably the bleeding and the cramps. ...Read more

Painful Menses: Dysmenorrhea Tx: NSAID’s, SSRI’s, hormone meds, OTC meds containing diuretics, warm bath, heating pad, exercise & acupuncture are excellent for dysmenorrhea. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. Get GYN eval to R/O underlying pathology. Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or Black Cohosh with dr ok. Need to see..: .. a gynecologist or family practitioner ASAP. Cramping with the other symptoms may mean you are going through some flux in your hormone levels, though if you have menstruation it is unlikely that you are pregnant. I would check a pregnancy test anyway to be sure, and if negative another one 1 week later. Then check a blood sugar to make sure you are not diabetic. Then see a MD for proper Dx ...Read more
