Are there natural treatments for my menopause symptoms?

Are there natural treatments for my menopause symptoms?

Partly effective: You may mean menopausal symptoms like hot flashes and vaginal dryness. Some patients take otc products made from black cohosh or soy that sometimes help, if my patients really want to try this, I tell them to try estroven (red clover), but follow the instructions. These products are not fda approved or tested so you need to be careful, at least estroven has been around for awhile and seems safe. ...Read more

Cont bleed after menopause for 2 mo going through super+ tampon in 2 hrs. When is bleeding an emergency? Diagnosis thick ut lining. Waiting ok 4 hyst

Could be an issue: Heavy bleeding like you describe especially after menopause could definitely be an issue. A thick uterine lining could indicate an endometrial cancer. Your doctor should do an endometrial biopsy or a D&C to determine. A hysterectomy is an option but I would want to rule out a cancer prior. ...Read more

I have been diagnosed with menopause at 21 and now I'm 28 years old and had white leakedge on my paints is this ovulating?

MD-evaluate discharge: You'll need 30 more yrs of HRT than average. This should be managed with care and great precision. I would recommend saliva testing and bioidentical hormones transdermally. The balance and ratios of estradiol, estriol, progesterone and testosterone should all be maintained at a normal level for a healthy 25 year old. The vaginal discharge and uterine lining should be evaluated by your GYN. ...Read more

Is there a test for perimenopause like there's a test for menopause?

Is there a test for perimenopause like there's a test for menopause?

Not Exactly: Perimenopause is a time where the hormonal profile may vary widely. I've seen people test like 20 year olds one month and the next month test menopausal. So if only one test is performed the information can be very faulty and conclusions can be wrong. We use symptoms combined with age and other clinical indicators to help us more than lab testing. Hormones are helpful in this time, . ...Read more
