Consider MRI if your x-rays and CT scans were normal you probably do not have anything serious. You might want to consider an MRI as it is more sensitive to a disc herniation.: If your ct scan and x-rays are normal you probably do not have anything significant. You might want to consider an MRI of your cervical spine as it is more sensitive to disk herniation could be pressing on nerve roots. Most likely that test would be normal as well. Massage therapy and physical therapy may be what you need to get back your strength and feeling of well-being. ...Read more

Reccomend seeing: Your doctor. This could be nothing, but would need physical exam and thorough history to rule out any issues. Again, this could be nothing but an irritated nerve, with one sided weakness I would want to rule out more serious issues like ms. Cannot say: In your particular case without a direct visit/exam/etc. BUT
cysts don't show up on x-rays. Irritations or damage of a nerve also does not show on x-ray.
A tendon can have a bleb called a ganglion cyst; its symptoms generally are what you describe.
