See your PCP.: Your symptoms and slightly low temperature most likely are unrelated. However your pcp can do examination and some blood tests in an attempt to find out the cause of your symptoms.
Feed your adrenals: Cortisol - as are all corticosteroids is derived from cholesterol. Studies have shown that a high saurated fat, low polyunsaturated fat diet will increase corticosteroid levels. Also supplementation with pregnenolone will increase ability of your adrenals to make cortisol, progesterone, estrogen, testosterone and other corticoids. Reduce all forms of stress. Get sleep and sunlight.See 3 more doctor answers
How do I find a Dr in RI who believes in Fluoroquinolone toxicity and how to treat it. I live in constant pain and lethargy. Thanks?
Is Extreme weakness and lethargy a sign that the antibiotic (avelox) is actually treating me by fighting the infection?
No: A disease process may cause the above symptoms, but they are not generally a sign that any particular antibiotic is working. Please see the doctor if you are not improving or for any other concerns.

I get overwhelming episodes of extreme lethargy, confusion, and weakness. It seems to occur randomly. What could cause this? I don't drink or drug.
I came off yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) 3 weeks ago after been on the contraceptive pill for 16 years. I've yet to have a bleed. Is this normal? Also I'm very lethargic. ..
?: If you didn't have a withdrawal bleed when you stopped the yasmin, (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) I would do a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If you did have the withdrawal bleed, then we wouldn't expect another period for 5-6 weeks, since women stopping the pill typically have their next period arrive 1-2 weeks late.
Persistent fibromyalgia for past 4 yrs, fatigue & lower backache triggered by mental/physical stress, tried allopathy for 3.5 yrs, now trying ayurveda?
Frustrating to treat: Fibromaylagia patients are very frustrated as treatment is always less than satisfactory. Treating underlying psychiatric disorders is the first step. Patients who are able to stay active by swimming or other exercise seem to do better but it is hard to know if the exercise helps or just screens out the less affected. Daughter 16 has headache and body aches the last 16 hrs. Slight cough, feverish and lethargic. Just flu? Is it more than a she is taking hormone pills to prevent severe cramps from periods
Hello.: Hello. Her symptoms are suggestive of the flu or another viral infection. I cannot diagnose her. It could be helpful to take her temperature. Usually a temperature of 100.4 is considered clinically significant. If she has a temperature of over 104 f with headache and lethargy that would be a reason to get her seen. If she has headache with neck stiffness and confusion, that would be a reason for immediate care. If she develops difficulty breathing then she should be evaluated. Recommend rest, at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of non-carbonated/ non- caffienated fluid per day, warm herbal teas and tylenol (acetaminophen) for discomfort. Chicken noodle soup and love go a long way too. Take care.See 1 more doctor answer
Depends: Americans pride themselves in not sleeping alot but sleep is incredibly important. It is the only time the body is able to restore and rejuvenate itself. The amount of sleep each person requires is different but normal ranges are 7-9. You should feel well rested when you sleep sufficiently and will not need to chug caffeine all day.
My 21mo daughter gets high fevers when sick. Temp gets bt 103-104 she's still pretty happy, but much higher, she's lethargic until meds work. Worried?
Typical: Some patients are particularly sensitive to different parameters, such as temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. This is an example of how if you have a derangement of one of them enough, it causes major problems. If she is lethargic for any reason, she needs to be seen, either at her physician or an emergency room.See 1 more doctor answer
I have been very lethargic lately and have had severe migraines daily. I can't hardly seem to get out of bed. Cause for concern?
Seek attention: May be the flu or other virus but if the "migraines" are new and you are that weak, you should see an md. Do you have fever and chills? Have you been exposed to anyone sick? Do you have a real diagnosis of migraines or are you self-diagnosing? Things i'd worry about with those symptoms are: mono flu vascular problems tumors etc.See 1 more doctor answer
Genetic causes- splenomegaly, fatty liver, seizures, fatigue, psychosis and ataxia? Neg. For np a/b/c, lupus, wilson's and ashkenazi diseases
This is a lot: I wish my answer was as good as your question. Some of your symptoms could be part of an immunologically mediated illness. These as you know can have a genetic basis. You have looked in some important areas. Your evaluation may be a variety of laboratory studies genetics studies and tissue biopsies to help clarify.
Heat and dehydration: The sun is hot and saps you of your energy. You definitely need to pay closer attention to keeping yourself hydrated with water and other healthy beverages if you will be in the sun for extended periods of time.
Means something like unanimated, having poor energy and feeling apathetic. For example if it is a very hot day and you are tired and don't feel you have the energy to do things, you might say that you are feeling listless. In mental health, having a strong sense of listlessness not related to hot weather, etc., can indicate a sense of hopelessness, ...Read more
