Just no. No.: This isn't primary progressive multiple sclerosis. About one person in 500 or so just doesn't have deep tendon reflexes. My neurology professor in Med school did not have any. Eye floaters just aren't MS. Many normal folks have them. Get on with your life, gain skills, exercise, make friends, get out of difficult life situations,, strive to be happy. Best wishes. didn ...Read more
See a neurologist: Primary progressive multiple sclerosis is a form of MS based on the timeline of your symptoms. In order to be diagnosed with PPMS, you must first have a diagnosis of MS by a neurologist. Secondly, you must have a clinical course that is indicative of PPMS - it can only be diagnosed over time. Lately have been waking up feeling confused--don't know where i am--possible nocturnal partial seizure? diangosis with epilepsy-no known seizures for 1.5 yrs
See below: Agree with dr. Lin. Waking up confused is concerning for epilepsy especially with a past history, but it can also be fragmented sleep due to a sleep disorder, such as sleep apnea. If you have bitten your tongue, wet the bed, or have body aches, it can further point to seizures. It is best to consult a neurologist, at this point, to evaluate your events at night ; manage your lamictal, if needed. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have ms symptoms. Got MRI, it was clear. Could I have Primary Progressive? I'm 17 and scared. Twitching, tingling, tremors, Weakness, stiffness.
May not be MS: If those are your MS symptoms, you may be ok. At least, you may not have MS. Primary progressive MS may cause atrophy or weakness, but those other symptoms are not very common. Perhaps the cause lies elsewhere, such as with medical side effects, or a blood chemistry abnormality. ...Read more

I have fibromyalgia. Recently I have had short term memory loss, dizziness, slow painful moving, vomited, and looked intoxicated. What could this be?
Right type may help!: Marijuana is a complex herb with many components but a major component, cbd, has been shown to stimulate regeneration of neurons. More research is needed but there's evidence it can help alzheimer's ; other neurodegenerative diseases ;thus might help amnesia as well; i'd only use high-cbd strains. My husband has not been diagnosed but I think he has symptoms of ms with seizures, vertigo, fatigue, memory loss, . ect what could we do please?
Diagnosis: You have given the answer: diagnose. He needs to see a neurologist. The list of symptoms is compatible with MS, but also with many other things. Whatever it is, he needs treatment. Had a deep tissue massage yesterday today I am nervous, brain fog, shaky, unsteady, and somewhat paranoid. Have any clue what causes this?
Massage can: release stored toxins into the blood stream then they have to be excreted. If the second part of the process is slower than the first we can experience flu-like symptoms called the Herksheimer response. Please see your doc if it doesn't pass. Otherwise, drink extra water after massage, especially deep tissue massage. Peace and good health. ...Read more

I am epileptic, i have absencescomplex partial tonic-clonic seizures. Recently i have been getting a sort of buzzing in my head cud this b a seizure?
Recent consult: Hello there young lady. We just consulted a little bit ago by live means. Just wanted to reinforce the notion that buzzing in the ears/head can be a symptom/aura for virtually ANY type of seizure such as simple/complex partials, absence, and GTC's. It can also be part of a rare seizure complex with genetic underpinnings called ADPEAF. I will discuss this in detail in my note that you'll receive. ...Read more
Could I have a brain tumor? I think i might have a brain tumor... My speech has been slurring. I've lost a lot of my coordination skills. I can't sleep at night. I get unbelievable tired even tho i sleep well when I do sleep. I have the sensation of losin
The : The problems you complain about reflect a potentially serious neurological problem, but may or may not indicate a brain tumor. For how long have you had this problem, and how rapidly have they progressed? An understanding of the history will affect what diagnosis one favors. In any event, at 17 you should not have memory difficulties, should not always feel tired, and should not have developed slurred speech, so clearly, you need a good thorough medical examination, which will likely lead to a referral to a neurologist and which may well require an MRI scan of your head. Tumor is only one of many possible diagnoses, and if it is a tumor there are many different kinds of tumors which might do this, some of them benign and others cancers, but your doctors should be able to provide answers after seeing you and running the necessary tests. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have been told I have a lesion on my cortical sensory strip. Was told possible ms. Does this sound like ms? I have cognitive and balance issues also
Unknown: Strictly speaking, from an imaging point of view, a single lesion does not a diagnosis of ms make. There are criteria to meet such as McDonalds criteria. Very early in the course of the disease it is more a clinical diagnosis . Follow up studies become important . Your neurologist is the best to know. Best wishes ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I've has these symptoms, headaches, leg twitching, weird sensation in arms, dizzy/lightheaded.. I have been stressed and had some anxiety..
Symptoms: Our brain is very similar to how it was 50 thousand years ago. When it detected danger, threat vulnerability it caused us to fight or flee them. In order to do so it needed to prepare our body. Now our dangers are such that there is no place to run and no body to really fight (usually) - but the physical preparation still happens and manifests in many of the symptoms you describe. www.thecoachmd.com. ...Read more
