Hemacytometer Method Test Results Of Lungs
Deoxygenated blood enters the lungs from the right side of the heart and travels to the lungs. When you inspire, oxygen flows into the lungs, transverses the capilliares and attaches to hemoglobin down a gradient. At the same time, co2 diffuses into the capilaries and is expelled with exhalation. Oxygen rich blood then flows to the left side of the heart and into the ...Read more

Msct scan, catheterization and sestamibi test results all show the blood flow in arteries. What are the main difference between these test results?
See below: Cath is the gold standard to which any procedure is compared to but is invasive. Msct is non invasive and evaluates the vessel specifically and can assess the degree of stenosis/blockage. Drawbacks include : 1)potentially higher dose of radiation but is significantly reduced at experienced centers2) overestimation of stenosis in inexp hands and artifact. Sestamibi only looks at blood flow. ...Read more

I just received my blood test results which showed a ca-125 reading of 35. The blood test results showed hyper chromic microcytic anaemia.
Benign: A Ca 125 of 35 was found to be a useful cutoff point, with 99% of healthy women having values less than 35. Levels above 35 units are certainly seen in healthy women, but beyond the cutoff point of 35, the higher the value, the more likely there is trouble. With ovarian cancer, the levels measure in hundreds. Depends on what you are looking for. Repeat the test. You probably need some iron tabs. ...Read more
My urine test results shows presence of erythrocytes (4+) and leukocytes (3+). What could it mean?
Not certain the: numbers but you want to avoid checking HIV screening tests in the first 12 weeks due to the latent period of the virus. Most pundits recommend to test between 3-6 months of exposure where antibody levels tend to correlate with presence of virus in sufficient quantities for measurement. ...Read more
9 positive preg tests followed instructions exact neg blood test 2 weeks ago just repeated the blood test whats the chances of 9 tests being wrong ?
Depends: How many days after the hpt was the blood test done? If it was two weeks after the positive hpt, it is could be that an early pregnancy was lost spontaneously. However, from what you described you did not have a period between the positive hpt and negative blood test. As I may have stated earlier, I would question the technique of doing the hpt. ...Read more

Thick blood , high inflammation levels abnormal liver function in all 3 blood tests, test back pos for blood clot on lung after dye test, back neg?
This is serious: I trust the dye test was a pulmonary angiogram that demonstrated a pulmonary thromboembolus, and it has also been determined that you have hypercoagulable blood. This is a major problem that will require work with your primary care physician and probably long-term medical management -- more than healthtap can do. Hope you do not smoke. The "inflammation" & liver labs need to be addressed in time. ...Read more
Need my Pulmonary L.F.T results explained and can the stage of COPD be determined by the lung function test results. My results showed COPD only?
I've had night sweats, coughing, chills and a fever for 6-8wks now. Test results show I have large nymph nodes on my right lung. What's going on?
In the test results of a chest xray the Dr, noted " Mild scoliotic curvature of the
dorsal spine" what does this mean?
Bend: The presumptive normal appearance of a spine on a front to back x-ray is a straight line, top to bottom. A slight bend in the form of an S (drifting away from center & back) is common & often arises during the rapid growth of adolescence. By itself it is an incidental finding of no particular importance. ...Read more
21 yr female. Heart arrhymia. Test results show an irregular EKG and stress test, but a regular chest xray and echo. What could be causing it?
Get the facts: Unless we can examine your entire ekg, holter and health history, nobody here can tell you a thing. This can be anything from the trivial extrasystoles / flipflops that most young folks' hearts do up to several times per minute in health, to something serious. Caffeine is the usual suspect in trivial disease, and if your physician tells you not to worry, then try your best to comply. ...Read more
I am wheezing for 3 days when I inhale, with chest tightness. test results show no asthma. I tested ANA positive, could this be from an autoimmune dis?
Pulmonary: Autoimmune diseases often can affect many other organ systems in the body including lungs. Other considerations would be tobacco use or medications. Methotrexate can cause lung problems. Without knowing all your history difficult to speculate but hope this helps and hope you feel better. ...Read more
Am a 24yr old female, had blood in mucus this morning. ECG, Chest CT, urine test results look normal. waiting for blood test results Whats wrong?
Bloody mucus: You don't say where the mucus is coming from. If you're coughing it up which is suggested from your chest CT test notation, you need to be sure you follow up. There are lots of places in the respiratory tract it could be coming from. ...Read more
Is a pulse below in your stomach an indicator that you are pregnant? Blood pressure is normal and so were blood test results. chest x-ray was fine.
Probably not: Even when the baby is quite large, its not possible to feel the baby's heart-beat. What you are probably feeling is your Aorta. This is the large artery that comes from the heart and supplies the entire body with blood. It splits into two arteries just below the belly-button. In some people, especially if they are thin, it is possible to feel the pulse from the aorta in this area. Best wishes ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What should I expect as far as procedure and pain with my upcoming amniocentesis? How accurate are the results for lung function test?
Not too bad: An ultrasound will ensure a healthy infant & find a good pocket of fluid. Your doc will inform you of the rare risks & obtain consent. Then after a prep, a long thin needle will be placed through the abdomen into the fluid which is removed with a syringe. This part is not too painful. Us ensures a safe procedure & the fluid is sent for tests. Lung maturity tests are accurate to ensure delivery. ...Read more

Today I received a pos result for a Early CDT Lung Test. In April 15 I had neg CT, Dec 15 I had neg CXR. Should I have another CT. Ongoing fatigue.
Early CDT: With out a nodule being present on a CT Chest, Early CDT has essentially no meaning. ( not endorsed or recommended by any society) At 49 years of age, u would not have been a candidate for CT screening unless u have some other history that would compel ur Doctor to screen with either modality. I would have urself evaluated by Lung specialist to gather more info and gage ur risk. Good luck ...Read more
How true is it that the lung X-ray examination result expires or is not valid after 2 weeks? Just heard from a clinic conducting an X-ray test
No: Not sure what they are referring to when they say expire. Once the x-ray has been taken it is what it is. Your lungs may change within hours after the x-ray is taken, rendering the prior film invalid for medical purposes, but it still stands on its own. Hope I have explained this ok. ...Read more
Would calcium coronary scoring results be affected by having multiple tiny nodular densities within lung parenchyma or scarring .How reliable the test?
I’ve had two lung function tests done. One a methacoline test which was negative but i wasn’t told to not take my loratadine. I feel like the results aren’t correct. I’ve experienced chronic chest pain and cough for a few months + dizzy and headaches?
I get breathing problems every time I do physical activity. I have done a lung and heart test but the results came out negative. What is causing this?
Asthma, etc. : It sounds as if additional investigation is necessary. Exercise-induced asthma, vocal cord dysfunction, acid reflux and deconditioning (being out of shape) should all be considered. A visit to your doctor, a sports med doctor or a pulmonologist would be my recommendation. ...Read more
Recently my doctor order an early cdt lung test as part of annual blood work that he screens. When the results were returned, is was positive for one?
Asses risk: I just answered another one like this. The problem with the cdt is that a negative test is most likely negative when correlated with imaging. A positive test can be present in patients with negative imaging and it can be negative in people with positive imaging. The importance of the test right now is still unclear. Low radiation ct is better in people stratified by risk and symptoms. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
