Clearblueeasy hCG levels for the conception indicator tests:1-2 weeks = 25miu to 200miu
2-3 weeks = 201miu to 2000miu
3+ weeks = >2000miu. Accuracy?
No: Accurate dating can't be done with these tests. The reason is that the beta-hcg levels have too wide of a normal variation at this early gestational age. An ultrasound done between 6 and 10 weeks gestational age is the most accurate way of dating pregnancy if the exact day of conception isn't possible to know. ...Read more

Wide range: Beta HCG in twin pregnancies is normally elevated above the level of singleton pregnancies, but has a wide range. At 9-10 weeks the levels should be around 250, 000 to 400, 000, however, the trending may be as important in the evaluation. Twin pregnancy is considered high risk and should have regular visits with ob. ...Read more

I have premature ovarian failure. My FSH level is 13.6 mIU/mL, LH 12.5 mIU, prolactin 14.53 ng/mL estradiol 449.1 pmol/L. What does this mean please?
Looks normal: All the hormone values listed, including estradiol, lh, fsh, look normal. Premature ovarian failure is essentially premature menopause. Lh should be higher, and Estradiol lower. Are you sure of the diagnosis? I presume your periods have stopped. Maybe you should see an endocrinologist or gyn who is expert in this. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Levels are good: These look great, but be aware that does not predict "yes" or "no" this early. Good luck this cycle. ...Read more
Hfsh is mlu / ml., hlh 4.0mlu /ml , prolactin 17.3 ng/ml , progesterone 44.0 nmol/ l. Please what does this mean.
FSH: It would be good to know the actual value of the fsh to interpret all the other information. It would also be important to know what day of your menstrual cycle the tests were done. The only test you reported that can be interpreted is the prolactin because it doesn't depend on the day it was done. That result was normal. ...Read more

Hcg levels: Sometimes nothing is present until 3000plus. When a pregnancy shows up on Ultrasound varies. I tend to repeat levels to see if rising appropriately (at least 15-20%) in 3 days is ok and most of my early pregnancies I do a progesterone level. Most ectopic or non viable pregnancies will quickly drop progesterone below 2. See if your doc will order another hcg and progesterone or repeat US 1 wk. ...Read more

See below: Blood level of less than 5 units/ml is negative for pregnancy and above 25 units is positive. Urine pregnancy tests depend on HCG being filtered from blood into urine. Concentration of HCG in urine also varies by how concentrated the urine is. Morning urine is usually more concentrated and should be used. ...Read more
