My son has a blood pressure of 150/111, he is twenty five years old. What can we do to help with his headache? His height is 5'6, his weighs 218lbs.
Have : Have you repeated the blood pressure to make sure the value you got was accurate? If this is a severe headache, i recomend that you take him to the emergency room. I can not tell by reading this if he has chronic hypertension. I don't know if his blood pressure is causing his headache or if his headache is so severe, that it is causing his blood pressure to rise. In general blood pressure reading of 180 or higher for the top number (systolic pressure) and 110 on the bottom or higher (diastolic pressure) is pretty significant. Since there isn't much information here, i recommend a prudent approach and that you take him to the emergency room so that he can be checked out. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I am a male aged 53 years and my wife is 38 years old. We have a kid which is five years old. We would like to have a another baby. Is it possible?
Absolutely!: You most likely have viable sperm still. You have already proven that you can do it by having your 5yo. The fact that your wife is still in her 30s is great, because the risks of pregnancy and baby-trouble in 40yo mothers is much greater. I would say, "go for it!". ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Calcium and Protein: Many american's have relatively low, if not deficient, calcium levels. This leads to slow leeching of calcium from our bones, making them more brittle in old age. I suspect any doctor's you've spoken with recommend milk for this reason. Milk is also a good source of protein. Remember the fat though, i always recommend skim milk, and at most 2%, for adults. ...Read more

My daughter is five years old she has a cold usually I would use Mucinex (guaifenesin) what can I use on her?
My five years old started with a cold sore for the first time. Is there any medication or treatment for this condition?
Oral herpes?: First confirm the diagnosis. Not all apparent cold sores are due to herpes. A sore inside the mouth more likely is a canker sore, not a cold sore. Effective treatment is available for oral herpes, but not before confirming the diagnosis and it needs a prescription. Take your daughter to the pediatrician right away -- the sooner the better for accurate diagnosis and for effective treatment. ...Read more
