Check w doctor: Any time you have new symptoms after a procedure you should check with the doctor who did the procedure. Do you mean you had an endoscopy to look at the stomach? If so, because sometimes some air gets in then you get belching, and if the stomach is distended it can irritate the nerves in the area and you can have some discomfort. How long?: Pain is normal in the first 1-2 weeks after surgery. But it should be getting better each day. If getting worse or associated with fevers, vomiting etc see your surgeon. However, as a generalization, appendicitis usually occurs in the right lower quadrant or mid abdomen, not usually on the left. May be due to stress: Too many different systems involed. Are you under stress? Do you exercise and perhaps strained you neck. Tension can cause headaches and stress can induce pain anywhere. Since you make no mention of joint pain, i assume the pain is more musculoskeletal. You make no mention of diarrhea or constipation as well.
