Gallbladder or liver: If your stools are indeed yellow, possible causes are gallbladder disease. Fatty yellow stools are a characteristic of a parasitic infection which is quite common - giardia - but i would not expect constant pain with giardia. Check gallbladder: there are many causes for fatty stools which usually will come out loose. 10 hrs is actually not bad, some people have to go right after each meal. But, RUQ pain can indicate GB problem, which in turn can cause poor digestion of fat. So, avoid fatty foods, oily foods and ask a doctor to get a test for GB function. (It's a start). ...Read more
