Neutrophils77%(normal values 50-70), monocytes 1%(nor.2-10), lymphocytes20%(nor.22-40), basophils 0%(nor.0-1), eosinophils2%(nor2-4)what can be? Teniasis?

Numbers are numbers: The rest of the story is needed, as these blood test result themselves are pretty normal... Which has almost no meaning without hearing the rest of the story. One's regular doctor, who knows why a blood test was ordered and who has examined the patient, can be helpful here. Otherwise, these numbers are just numbers... Could be anything... Or could be nothing. ...Read more

Neutrophils77%(normal values 50-70), monocytes 1%(nor.2-10), lymphocytes20%(nor.22-40), basophils 0%(nor.0-1), eosinophils2%(nor2-4)can this show teniasis?

No/need stool sample: This is a near perfect blood smear result. You'd need a stool sample to diagnose teniasis and possible biopsy of the infected area. It's really important to get a visit and thorough exam from your doctor with practically definitive proof if this before starting a med like albendazole. Good luck. ...Read more

Is 9.5% eosinophil count high?

Hard to say: More important that the percentage of eosinophils is the actual number of them in the blood. If your total white blood cell count is low, that % may be normal. If the total WBC is high, that % may equal a high absolute number of eos. In general, a slightly elevated % or absolute eosinophil count is most likely to be due to allergic disease. See your doctor or an allergist for more info. ...Read more

11.6 wbc, 6.45 absolute neutrophils, 3.78 absolute lymphocytes, 0.95 absolute monocyte, 0.02 immature neutrophils. Lab mark them high. Causes?

May be none.: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, this count may be your normal. The count is only mildly increased and if you have no symptoms, do not be concerned. Platelet, neutrophil, lymphocyte, monocyte, eosinophil, basophil, & immature granulocytes are normal. Which cancers r ruled-out? All of them? Why?

Leukemia: The short answer is that if your peripheral count is totally normal, it is unlikely that you have leukemia but, when you are talking about cancer in general, you are also referring to a multitude of solid organs from where cancers can originate like the lungs, liver, stomach, colon to list a few. There is no single blood test that can rule in or out all cancers. ...Read more

4yr old daughter with CBC levels- wbc11.6 rbc4.62 hemoglobin 12.6 mch-27.2 platelets 420 lymphocytes57.7 neutrophils33 basoph-1.0 abs lymphocytes6.68?

Normal values: I'm not sure what your question is, but all of these values are completely normal for a 4 y/o. White blood cell count (WBC) is normal as is the differential count which indicates different types of white blood cells present. Not anemic and red blood cells normal amount of hemoglobin (mch). Platelets in normal range so right number to clot blood and not too high which can indicate inflammation. ...Read more

Neutrophils 37.2%, eosinophils 10%--is this normal?
Neutro Low/Eos High.: Neutrophils are normally 45-74% in a count of wbc's while eosinophils are normally 0-7%. You might have a high count from an allergic reaction to something or it might be that some neutrophils might have been mistaken for eosinophils. Either way, this does not seem abnormal enough to indicate an underlying disorder. A repeat count would be advised. See your doctor. ...Read more

What might cause elevated absolute neutrophils but normal neutrophil percentage?

TheTruthOnAbsolute : Percentages are relative numbers. You could have one billion neutrophils (elevated) but only 10% of total White Cells (low, %, based on normal ranges), but 10% of one billion is sky high. We are always looking at relative numbers and absolute numbers. Relative numbers like % can be manipulated in various ways, good and bad, but absolute numbers are the nitty-gritty. ...Read more

Neutrophil-79%, lymphocyte-18%, monocyte-0. Does this relate to hiv?

Not enough info: This is a modest shift of white blood cells to neutrophils and there are lots of reasons why that can happen. Every adult is supposed to be tested for hiv, so regardless of why these labs look like this, ask for an HIV test. It is better to know your status. ...Read more

What does a high neutrophil count & low lymphocytes & monocytes indicate? Neutrophil %(76(. Anc(3.42), absolute lymph(0.95), absolute mono(0.05)

Probably nothing: Most adults have an absolute lymphocyte count of 1.6 x 10^3 or more, but it fluctuates chaotically. The stress of minor illness can drop it briefly in the absence of any other problem. Your physician can advise you depending on your health otherwise and may choose no follow-up. Everyone is wise to be checked occasionally for hiv. ...Read more
