Is it from radiation? Hyperbaric oxygen is only known treatment for late effects of radiation. ...Read more

Follicular: Follicular nodules that are read as indeterminate by the pathologist have an approximately 25% chance of being cancer, and surgical removal is the only sure way to find out if it is indeed a cancer. If you don't want surgery, then very careful follow-up with regular ultrasound exams to look for growth of the nodule or development of abnormal lymph nodes in the area would be an option, with the understanding that if the nodule did grow or abnormal lymph nodes developed then surgery would be necessary. ...Read more
