Stomach pain after eating-burning lower abdomen, urgent bowel movement, sharp pain in upper abdomen, extreme bloating, decreased appetite?
Hello. : Hello. I can't diagnose your symptoms. However, the esophagus is the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach. The delicate tissue of the esophagus can be inflammed or irritated if gastric acids refluxes into the esophagus from the stomach. Drinking lots of alcohol is one possible cause of esophageal inflammation. If a person is overweight or they have a loose sphincter muscle which closes off the top of the stomach, this could be causes for gastric acid to reflux into the esophagus. The stomach could be inflammed from bacteria, a virus, alcohol, stress - lots of reasons. Runny bowel movements could be from gastroenteritis, food being propelled too rapidly through the colon. Without an evaluation, the doctors in this forum can provide generalized information but not a lot more. If your doctor diagnosed you with an inflammed esophagus and stomach, ask more info about it. If you need to, write down all your questions first. Take care. ...Read more
