Doubt it: Cracking has nothing to do with whether the graft is cadaver or not. It may have to do with the way it is positioned in your neck and the way your adjacent structures relate to it, but there is so much chance you would have had cracking had it been a different graft put in. ...Read more

Left lower back pain: Pleurisy unlikely unless coughing,SOB, and have an URTI. Pleural separation is seen in pneumothorax or effusion and would be associated with more breathing issues, short of breath(SOB)- twisting is unlikely to cause it . If concerned can get a chest xray. Most likely just muscle strain from twisting for which warms soaks, NSAIDS if not allergic, can help. May also be stone. f/u/ w/ MD ...Read more

Irritated Nerve: Some nerves in the face and neck can become irritated or pinched as the come out of the brain. These nerves include the trigeminal and facial nerve. A couple things...: The most concerning issue is the hardware coming loose. This is uncommon but does occur.
