Can you have palpitations that are not seen on an EKG or hospital ultrasound? Doctor said he didn't see any hard heart beating or fast, skipped, irregular beating. Could it be vagus nerve or esophagus from uncontrolled GERD?

Poss, not common: Some Fluttering when running is far more common with less serious prob than HCM & ARVD These entities are best recognized on Echocardiogram, & this will be done. Absolutely yes: There's always an outside chance they missed something but it's small. Prolonged QT would have been seen & there would have been electrical evidence of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
