1-2 Weeks: Inflammation from a rash can take time to resolve. I would first suggest you remove anything that could be a possible cause of the rash. Once the cause is removed it can take anywhere between a week or two weeks for the inflammatory products to dissipate from your system. Untrue: The cure is avoidance of the contact allergens. Have you undergone patch skin test to try to find out the cause ( I suspect one of the facial cosmetics may be causing it)? On the other hand, if you have atopic eczema, then there is no cure although the condition can be controlled. However the location of your rash is not consistent with atopic eczema. See allergist or dermatologist. ...Read more

You would need to: take a small amount of the product you think you may be allergic to and tape it on your forearm (not a lot or you could have a severe allergic reactioand if a rash appears there in the next 72 hours you are likely allergic to some component in that product.
