All of my labs (comp. metabolic panel and CBC) have been normal twice recently, but I am still terrified I have cirrhosis. Is this possible?
Could I have cancer, i had a CBC done and everything was normal except my lymphs were high at 48? I have been very fatigue, feeling full quick, achy?
I am scared and worried. I have had up back pakn for months. Ct of chest clear. Scared I have cancer. Cbc ok. Serum protein ok. Magea4 was elevated.
Over reaction.: If you had checked and tests are ok, you should not worry too much and should not be scared that you have cancer! back pain is one of the most common symptoms (usually nonspecific and related to aging). However, consult orthopedician-back pain expert-physiotherapist and exercise gradually but regularly. Continue follow up with your physician! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can you have normal (low) CRP and sed rate but still have cancer somewhere? My doctor says no but i'm still worried.
I had a blood test done at my doctor and everything was normal. He said this means I probably don't have Colon cancer. Could I still have colon cancer?
I don't have enlarged/swollen lymph nodes, but have a really bad case of pruritus and dizzy spells, but my CBC came back normal. should i be worried?
Yes: The dizzy spells, unless related to orthostatic hypotension or a heart rhythm problem, need evaluation by a neurologist. The itching requires a chemical profile and if normal, a dermatology consult in all likelihood. The CBC being normal does not prove the absence of significant disease. Stay proactive and get seen. ...Read more

I had a pap smear come back extremely abnormal, months ago. I don't have ins. And im afraid that its progressed. How fast do cancer cells spread?
Abnormal pap….: Extremely abnormal is not what the pathologist noted on your pap smear, and if your doctor said extremely abnormal you should have been given a very precise schedule for follow up. In any case you should see someone as extremely abnormal paps do progress. There is no way to tell how quickly. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have a norma WBC count but I have elevated lymphocytes and decrease nutrophils. Iw as worried because its been chronic and never change for 7mos now?
Absolute vs percent: It is important if the absolute number of lymphocytes is increased. In adults the cutoff is usually 4000 per microliter. If only the percentage is increased, that may not be significant. If their absolute number is not increased, there is little reason for concern. If there is an absolute increase in the number of lymphocytes, viral infections and chronic lymphocytic leukemia should be ruled out. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I think I have had symptoms of Sepsis for weeks, but all my tests come back fine. and my vital signs are normal. what should I do?
Be grateful: You're not going to develop sepsis out of the blue without having some underlying cause that a second-year med student could pick up. If you've lost your spleen along the way, sepsis can pop up suddenly -- but you'll be obviously sick. And people who have sepsis perish in hours or days. Get a diligent physician to work up whatever symptoms you have. Best wishes. ...Read more
