Workup: Do not ignore a headache of 4 days duration. Although this may be a migraine variant, it could also be an issue with pressure on your brain. I suggest a full medical evaluation with blood test and well as a ct scan of your brain and possibly an mri.. I advise immediate medical checkup. Sort of the same: Chills and fever are sort of the same thing, during an infection. Chills happen when one's body is trying to generate more heat in order to raise the temperature. Fever is a raised temperature, of 100 degrees (F) or more. Thus, feeling chills during an infection means the body is still fighting the infection. Flu: just bc have chills doesn't necessarily mean we have the flu. if test came back negative, i don't think you need to treat with Tamiflu (oseltamivir). You can develop a resistance to it and next time if she had the flu and then needs it, you want it to work effectively. ...Read more
