Scabies: I wish i could shout this out to america. The over the counter permetrin is not strong enough any more to treat almost all cases of scabies. The bugs are getting more difficult to treat. The prescription strength Permethrin still works well and so does the new oral medicine for this. ...Read more

There : There is an over the counter treatment called elimite (permethrin). I believe it is inexpensive. Also remember to wash your sheets/bedding in very hot water, and all affected family member's need to be treated. If the treatments do not work go to the free clinic for an evaluation.
