Interesting: By acid taste, I have to assume you are having some material come up from the back of your throat like a bad burp? This is called gerd or reflux. Some call it water brash. Maybe, but...: Could also be some other cause for the symptoms. One's doctor can check. Throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants.
