Middle back pain radiating to hip and buttock, right side. Finished antibiotics for UTI yet continued back pain. Causes please?
Ongoing mid upper back pain, spasms. Just did 14 day h pylori treatment. Pain in irritated back muscle and chest swallowing saliva. What could this be?
Needs Evaluation: To find out the source of this issue. Could even be atypical chest pain from your heart as opposed to GI pain from an ulcerated esophagus. Needs evaluation: Back spasms could be caused by other problems besides just infection. If you're already on a second round of antibiotics and your urine tests are 'clear' -I would start to look for other causes. Yes: Spinal conditions which can cause this include degenerative disc disease and spinal instability (flexion/extension xrays can help to confirm this). Possibly: Yes it could, but so could other more serious issues like a pinched nerve in the neck. Even if it is a muscle spasm, the more important question is what is the cause for e spasms.
