Absence Of The Bile Ducts (Overview)

Absence of bile ducts in the liver is a condition that is usually diagnosed in a baby. The failure of a baby's liver to develop bile ducts causes the bile produced inside the liver to back up inside the liver, and overflow into the baby's blood, causing severe jaundice (yellow skin and eyes).
